The story began in 2007, when IT Gallery set out with a simple but ambitious vision, to bridge the gap between world-class technology brands and the local Sri Lankan market, and to do it with integrity, expertise, and a genuine focus on the customer. In those early years, the foundation was laid through direct importing of computer accessories, alarm systems, laptop accessories, and ZeusTech products, alongside an early focus on CCTV and surveillance solutions that would later become one of the company's strongest pillars. Recognition came quickly, including the HP sales achievement award for 2009 for best sales in the Western Province, signalling that this was a company determined to do things the right way, and to be measured by results.

As the years progressed, IT Gallery's portfolio expanded in step with the country's growing appetite for advanced technology. The company added Norton and AVG to its software offering, formed a Microsoft partnership for Windows and Office applications, and was appointed as a Hikvision and EAST UPS distributor, appointments that would go on to shape the company's identity in the surveillance and power solutions categories for years to come.
