FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is IT Gallery an authorised Hikvision distributor in Sri Lanka?
Yes. IT Gallery is Hikvision's national distributor for Sri Lanka, supplying genuine Hikvision CCTV cameras, NVRs, DVRs, access control, alarms and intercoms with local warranty.
What is the difference between IP and HD analog (Turbo HD) CCTV cameras?
IP cameras send digital video over a network cable to an NVR and offer higher resolution and smart analytics; HD analog (Turbo HD) cameras use coaxial cable to a DVR and are a lower-cost choice for simpler systems.
What is Hikvision ColorVu?
ColorVu cameras use large-aperture lenses and warm supplementary light to record full-colour video at night instead of black and white.
Does IT Gallery install CCTV systems?
Yes. IT Gallery's specialists can assess your site, recommend the right cameras, recorder and storage, and handle installation end to end. Call or WhatsApp 0750 900 900 to request a site survey.
