Questions about bidding

What is the Rs. 1,500 for?

It holds your offer, so that everyone bidding is serious. It is not a fee. If we accept your offer it comes off the price. If we don't, you get all of it back.

How do I know if my offer was accepted?

We go through every offer after the closing time and phone the person whose price we accept, on the number they gave us. Everyone else is refunded and notified.

How do I pay the rest?

We email you an invoice for your offer minus the Rs. 1,500 you already paid. Settle it by card online, or in cash at the shop.

Does the highest offer always win?

Usually, but not automatically. We look at every offer against what the machine cost us to refurbish, so a higher offer has a better chance — it is not a guarantee.

Can I make an offer on more than one machine?

Yes. Each one takes its own Rs. 1,500, and each is refunded separately if that offer is not accepted.

What condition are these in?

Every unit is tested, cleaned and graded before listing. The grade and any cosmetic marks are described on each listing, and refurbished stock carries our shop warranty.

Can I see it before I commit?

Yes — come to the shop and ask to inspect the machine before you make an offer.
